Preparation

  • What did the investigator do to prepare for the lab?

  • Investigator did all the hard work in completing his research work.

  • Is there something they did particularly well/thoroughly? Explain.

  • Yes ,he did his research work very well and in an organised way.

  • Did the investigator do anything really original while preparing for the lab? (It's ok if they did not.) Explain.

  • All of his work was good particularly how well he organised his data.

  • See if you can come up with at least one specific suggestion to help them improve their preparation in the future.

  • Although his was good ,but in some part of his report i find lapse of continuity means in the middle of the discussion he was a bit wayward in his approach.

Narrative & Method

Carefully review the investigator's narrative.

  • Was there any part of the narrative and method that helped you with your lab or taught you anything new?

*Yes , he has organized his work well which i found very cool .

  • Take a moment and reflect on those part(s) of the narrative / method. What is it about those parts that makes them effective?

  • how well he linked his data with the following data and how well he organized it

  • Can you think of anything that might make them even more useful?

  • he has to have a bit specific in his work .

  • If they are stuck somewhere, feel free to give them a hint. Don't give them the answer, but maybe a suggestion, or a resource you found useful.

Presentation

  • Was there any of writing that you found particularly effective?

*Already mentioned above.

  • If the investigator used charts, tables, and graphs to present their results, what did you like best about them, and why?

  • He didn't use charts and graphs.

    • Can you think of something the investigator could do to make them more effective?

*Already mentioned above.

  • If the investigator did not use charts, tables, or graphs to present their results, suggest one way that they could use them that would help make their report more effective, and explain why it would make it more effective

  • He has presented code ..that was the cool thing ..

Exploratory skills

Tools such as reflective questions are supposed to help investigators integrate new knowledge gained in the lab, and link it to their existing knowledge.

  • What are some things that the investigator has done so far to help their own integration process? (Some folks are really good at externalizing their process. See AndrewSutters journals, for example. You may have to dig a bit more with most folks.)

  • already mentioned above.

  • Do you have any suggestions ( or even requests ) for the investigator as they continue working on the lab concerning contributions they might make to the group's knowledge base about the lab?

  • Already mentioned above .

  • Any other feedback you'd like to give to the investigator?

*N/A
