Peer Evaluation Report
Peer Evaluator LathaMurugappan
Investigator sowjanya
Lab Lab 5
Course WebDev
Date 4 Dec 2008

Preparation

* What did the investigator do to prepare for the lab? sowjanya had XML, Schema's and XLST's from previous lab.She has also followed the steps correctly. She has also followed the book falagan, which is very good. * See if you can come up with at least one specific suggestion to help them improve their preparation in the future. It is good to check W3schools web site always, which is missing in draft..it is nice that you have visisted the safari online book, given a list of event handlers.,but you can also have w3schools as a reference site. .

* How about something that they did particularly well, and/or something you might not have thought about? It is nice to see she has begun working on the javascript ,given the code for it already. She has also talked about the JS in detail which I liked.

Narrative& Method

* Carefully review the investigator's narrative. Can you find any steps they might explain more clearly? I think she has done a detailed analysis till step 3 and given the code for the button works etc. she can validate her code, and write about her results and impressions.

* Any steps they might have missed or errors they might have made? I guess she is working on the other part for final draft but Reflective section is missing. You could at least write it in and say why you were unable to finish the section. * Interesting alternatives they might explore?

I would suggest you to go to w3schools and refer them.

* If they are stuck somewhere, feel free to give them a hint. Don't give them the answer, but maybe a suggestion, or a resource you found useful.

I don't think she is stuck some where since she has has done a nice job towards the JS code.

Presentation

* Was there any of writing that you found particularly effective?

I guess she is doing good.

* If the investigator used charts, tables, and graphs to present their results, what one thing could the investigator do to make them more effective? What did you like best about them, and why?

I don't think this is applicable in this lab. * If the investigator did not use charts, tables, or graphs to present their results, suggest one way that they could to make their report more effective, and why it would make it more effective. She can use mind map to explain her code.

Exploratory skills

* Answers to reflective questions are supposed to help investigators integrate new knowledge gained in the lab, and link it to their existing knowledge. Give the investigator some feedback on how well they are doing so far, as well as some suggestions on how to improve.

I can't really say anything for this question, because she is yet to answers her refelexive questions. * Any other feedback you'd like to give to the investigator? Nothing much, she is doing great.hope she does not stop here, beacause lots of things are yet to be filled.
