Evaluation of Kiran Patel by Ahmad

Preparation

• What did the investigator do to prepare for the lab?

Kiran read the book mentioned in the lab report for event handling and explained his report by adding the XML, XSLT and DTD code.

• See if you can come up with at least one specific suggestion to help them improve their preparation in the future. i would like to suggest Kiran to go with as many practical examples to understand the concepts in detail.

• How about something that they did particularly well, and/or something you might not have thought about?

He explained all the event handlers.

Narrative & Method

• Carefully review the investigator's narrative. Can you find any steps they might explain more clearly? I think he has done a detailed analysis till step 3 but did not give any code ,like how the button works etc. he can write some javascript code, test it out, validate your code, and write about your results and impressions.

Any steps they might have missed or errors they might have made?

yes he did missed some steps but i think he is planning to cover it in his final report.

• Interesting alternatives they might explore?

He should go through the book or the safari website.

• If they are stuck somewhere, feel free to give them a hint. Don't give them the answer, but maybe a suggestion, or a resource you found useful.

I dont think he got stuck on any account.

Presentation

• Was there any of writing that you found particularly effective?

He described all his steps with being quite narrative which really males his report as a whole very effective.

• If the investigator used charts, tables, and graphs to present their results, what one thing could the investigator do to make them more effective? What did you like best about them, and why?

He did not add any charts or tables in his report

• If the investigator did not use charts, tables, or graphs to present their results, suggest one way that they could to make their report more effective, and why it would make it more effective.

He can use mind map to explain his code..

Exploratory skills

• Answers to reflective questions are supposed to help investigators integrate new knowledge gained in the lab, and link it to their existing knowledge. Give the investigator some feedback on how well they are doing so far, as well as some suggestions on how to improve.

Yes ,Kiran has answered all the question properly.

• Any other feedback you'd like to give to the investigator? I think kiran has done good job so far and he doesn’t require any other feedback.
